Have you been wondering if it’s time to find a mentor? Or you know you need one but have no clue where to start looking?

Then today’s episode is perfect for you because we are talking all things mentors! It can be one of the most important choices in your career and can catapult you forward by years.

The first thing you need to think about is where you are currently at in your business journey. You will need different mentors and mentor-roles at different phases. For example, if you’re in your first 5 years, you need a mentor that can help you become very technically proficient at your business. You’ll be asking a lot of “How do I do that?” questions so you need a mentor that can give you a breadth of experience and advice.

But after this point, you need to learn how you can push your business forwards into new realms and this requires a different approach. I’ll take you through the different mentor-roles you can look for in your business, whether you need the sage, risk-taker, protege, devil’s advocate, accountability partner, confidant or teacher.

Now how do you find them? Don’t worry - they’re not hiding under rocks. They’re excited to bring the industry to new levels by collaborating with mentees and the right mentor will be thrilled to work with you. I’ll explore the different avenues you can take to find the right fit for you and how to best approach them to establish a positive and mutually rewarding relationship.

So, let’s dive in together to find the perfect mentor who will support you to find new levels of success in your business.
